NZXT Kraken X63
Mine rattles too, let the pump run at 100% then it gets a bit better but unfortunately you won't get rid of it completely.
...yes, fits together very well.
the cooling of a ryzen threadripper 1920x works for me without any problems
You should rather take x63. It is the more up-to-date model. You can install the cooling head as you like and then turn the kraken writing.
Yes, there is already thermal paste on the cooler.
Hello, I have used my x63 with an INTEL Core i7-7700 (LGA 1151) and recently with an INTEL Core i5-13600KF (LGA 1700). No problems with the 2 sockets for me.
Thank you very much for the advice. We were able to successfully adjust the warranty period.
In the meantime, the socket 1700 adapter should be included. Also according to another answer. In the worst case, it has to be ordered later. https://support.nzxt.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407896253339-How-to-get-the-LGA-1700-Bracket
In principle, yes. The question is rather, will it fit into the housing? Should the product just be an upgrade or are you building from scratch? If you are building from scratch, I might be able to help you - I built one recently.
Is the mounting kit for the LGA 1700 socket included, or do I have to ask the manufacturer directly?
Nein, leider nicht mitgeliefert und Hersteller kann nicht wirklich liefern: "Thank you for submitting your request for an LGA 1700 bracket. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the brackets in stock. You have been placed on a waiting list and we will be shipping the brackets in the order the requests were received. Once your bracket is ready to be shipped you will be notified with a tracking link. We appreciate your patience."
The i7 10700k has the LGA 1200 socket and this is supported. So yes, this AIO fits.
4.56 Watt
I think there is now a version where the fans also have RGB. With my x63, only the display had adjustable colours. (A ring and the NZXT logo).
Unfortunately no. It only works via NZXT Cam. An okay software in my opinion.
I "only" have an I9 9900K but it's stable at 5.5Ghz and I've never got higher than 75 degrees. I would simply recommend mounting the radiator in front, as this allows cooler air to flow through. If necessary, perhaps install a second fan to supply fresh cold air to the GPU.
Should be good👍
You don't have to buy a pump. This is an all-in-one water cooling system. Should actually fit into almost every midi case. Otherwise, read the dimensions and compare ;)
What do you mean? No, you can't just run the fans. You have a cooling head with pump that you mount on your CPU. This must always be run in at least minimum operation to ensure active cooling of your processor. If you don't want an AIO, buy an air-cooled CPU cooler solution, e.g. from Noctua.
Two fans are supplied. It is best to get a splitter cable. You can connect the fans to the CPU fan or pump fan.
Yes, the Kraken fits at the front. And actually only there. I would still opt for the Kraken today. For the case, I would opt for something more valuable
The design of the X63 has been revised a little. You can connect the NZXT Aer RGB 2 fans directly to the pump, i.e. to an RGB cable that comes from the pump. Unfortunately, I can't tell you whether the performance has also been improved. I was fully satisfied with my Z63, but am now switching to Custom.
From the Kraken manual: "For the Socket TR4, use the AMD Socket TR4 bracket included in the Threadripper CPU packaging." So it should be in the CPU box.
Yes, no problem! :)
Oops! Thank you very much for pointing that out. A correction request has just been sent. :)
