Good day On the basis of the operating instructions at: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02092678 (from page 78) and a Youtube video: https://youtu.be/X4xKcpVVVrk I would say that it should fit. I haven't found anything about the maximum possible height of a hard drive, but I assume that it should work. The Windows installation must then be redone, of course, or you can transfer the contents using an image tool such as Paragon Hard Drive Manager. However, you should make sure that the latest firmware is on the SSD as soon as possible after the conversion; I had regular data loss in the beginning. This seems to have been solved with the latest firmware.

Helpful answer

Hello, the SSDs have different types of memory. Your 840 Evo has TLC 3Bit, the 860 QVO has QLC 4Bit, internally they all have a small fast memory SLC, when this is full, the data is moved to the slower memory, the write rate drops massively. The Pro's have MLC 2bit which is very fast and even with very large amounts of data the write rate remains constant. I think the 840 does better.

Helpful answer

Yes, compatible with my mac mini. To find a compatibility according to the type of mac and the date of release (mini, macbook or others), I looked on the net. https://www.macway.com/disque-ssd/n200143/ good day

Yes, virtually any 2.5" SSD/hard drive can be installed in a PS4 Pro. And the PS4 Pro, unlike the PS4, has a SATA 3 controller and can therefore make use of faster SSDs. In this article, an 860 QVO was tested in a PS4 Pro: https://www.giga.de/thema/samsung-ssd/samsung-qvo-860-ssd-im-test-gross-und-guenstig-doch-das-hat-seinen-preis/page/2/
