Hello, in addition to the usual PIN, movement and password methods, the Samsung system on this phone also suggests biometric data for security purposes. You can only select facial recognition in this area of the settings, but not the fingerprint. This can probably be done via an app if required. I haven't tried it myself because it's not important to me.

Apparently, this should be quite simple and directly visible under the indication of the software version in the menu of the unit. I apologise for not having a more suitable answer or guidance for you. Best regards, your team from Galaxus.

Then I think this smartphone is the right one for you. Relatively cheap and "tough as nails". In any case, I've already dropped it on the floor several times and it survived... but of course, even this device is not indestructible.

Information on the Internet: A comprehensive package of mobile devices and services, pre-configured for businesses. Broader choice, better control and more protection with the Enterprise Edition package. A choice of industry-leading Samsung devices* with options for all businesses and budgets. However, I or my employer use this software option. Other features were important to me, e.g. 2 SIM card slots. To what extent the optional security features are really any good, you should ask your IT organisation. The only disadvantage: no 5G. But I can live with that.

What guidelines should Digitec/Galaxus follow? Both standards are assigned by the manufacturer, the IP rating describes the resistance to dust and water. Samsung itself no longer gives a guarantee in the event of a defect (https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/what-is/ip68/). MIL-STD-810, also describes only a series of tests for the "survival capabilities" of a device. This standard is more of a joke than anything else... So both of these certifications refer to the device itself and what it should survive, and make no statement about warranty handling/repair.... These are two completely different pairs of shoes...
