This kit has extended the life of my Samsung considerably - still in use today. I hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck with it.
Unfortunately not, production has been discontinued (at least for the Swiss region).
Hello, I think it should fit because it is its own operating system and is only connected to the TV through an HDMI cable. You also have two remote controls (two Smart Systems where you can switch back and forth). The SEK 4500 kit has the newer Smart Menu guide from 2018.

Unfortunately, according to Samsung's listing, this product is not compatible with the TV.
The plugs did not fit so I returned the SEK

Only models and years: 2012 (ES7090, ES8090), 2013 (F8090, F8590, F9090, S9), 2014 (H8090, HU6900, HU7590, HU8290, HU8590, S9B, S9, S9W), 2015 (JS9090, JS9590, S9W).
Yes, unfortunately it is not a replacement, but as already written, this kit must be additionally connected to the box in series. If the first box goes out, nothing works anymore. I cannot recommend it. Not a good solution for an upgrade.

According to the article's technical manual, it is not compatible with his TV. It is made for some series that came out between 2012 and 2015 while his apparently was made in 2017.

As far as I know, Samsung TVs are only compatible from 2015.
Hello,
I had a Samsung Smart TV UE55HU8580 Curved with an original box SOON!
The Zattoo application could no longer be updated with its operating system.
So I bought the SEK-4500 box which has the new TIZEN operating system.
Unfortunately, the cable that connects the new box to the TV is not compatible (different plug).
So I spent money for NOTHING! And here I am with one more device in the basement!
In your case, you should check if your TV can receive the cable from the SEK-4500.

No, it is compatible with model hu8590
The SEK4500 is connected via HDMI. It is not a replacement for the old connection box but an update of it.
I briefly consulted Samsung Switzerland support on this, yes would be compatible.

Unfortunately, there is no adapter from this kit to your TV. The Samsung SEK-3500U would be suitable. However, we do not currently carry this item.
