The Sonos Sub can only be paired with a Sonos player (stereo pair or Playbar). You would have to add this, then the setup works.

No, the AMP is intended for passive speakers. The successor of the Connect is SONOS Port (Black, Airplay)

Hello Martiwr. You can connect the Sonos Connect via Cinch cable to your Pioneer X-HM82 (Line In) and pass on the signal via WLAN / Bluetooth from there to the Revox Speaker (if the Pioneer is capable of this). However, you can neither connect the Pioneer nor the Revox directly to the "SONOS WLAN", as Sonos is a proprietary system.

Yes, this is possible without any problem. You use the analogue audio output on the Marantz and connect it to the analogue In on the Sonos connect. Then select line in as the source in the Sonos app. You can then stream the CD player to all rooms or only to the Playbase. Unfortunately there is no optical out on the Marantz, otherwise it would be even easier. Greetings

The Sonos Connect does not have a headphone output, but - in addition to digital outputs - a fixed or variable analogue output (cinch; line or pre-out, high impedance). However, it should be possible to connect a wireless headphone system (with amplifier) to this.

The CONNECT receives the SONOS WLAN in your home and connects the music playing on it (from your PC, iPhone or the Internet) to an existing amplifier speaker system. So you can listen to Sonos on your old stereo system and don't need extra Sonos speakers. If you want to connect your turntable to the Sonos system, use the input jack on a Sonos speaker with an input. I guess you don't even need the preamp for that.

Hello Mr. Graser Yes, you can connect an active subwoofer to the Connect. Simply connect the Connect's Line Out to your Sub's Line In. I assume you meant the inputs on the sub, You use the line input there. The LFE In is the bass channel of a Dolby surround system. Only the bass tones that were sent to this channel during the mix are reproduced there. With the Line In, as with a stereo system, all frequencies are received, but only what you set with the crossover, will be reproduced;) Best regards Beat Frei

Sonos Connect has a stereo input (line in) from which the connected audio source can be streamed to other Sonos devices. Works well. The analogue/digital converter is good and provides solid quality.

Hello. You can connect the Connect with an analogue cable (R+L). For a picture, please look here: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81VfO3EQbbL.pdf Page 6/15 of the PDF. Unfortunately, it does not work through your speakers (play 1 and play 3), only play:5 has an analogue input. ciao, m.

I confirm Agebhard's comment. The pre-amplification is necessary, among other things, because of the non-linear phono output. The output signal at the turntable is analogue, the max. signal strength is typ. 0.7V. The volume is adjusted on the SONOS. Scorpio07

Neither. The CONNECT box connects SONOS with a classic audio system via 3.5 jack plugs (In and Out). This allows me, for example, to transfer the music from the record player or CD player via the stereo system to the SONOS network. Or vice versa, play the SONOS music on my stereo system with its loudspeakers. Your question is about the transfer of music stored on the computer into the SONOS world. This is realised digitally without CONNECT via the computer network (LAN or WLAN). By the way: CONNECT can neither feed Bose nor other speakers. CONNECT can only receive or send analogue signals via cable, but it also has a LAN connection. Everything clear? Werner Andres

Well, the answer is relatively simple. Wireless connection is not possible, as Connect can only be connected via Cinch. But it would be possible to use a separate product for the sound. I did something like this for our outdoor whirlpool, as Connect is not suitable for outdoor use. I can't recommend a product for this, as I only need the sound here. You want to use SwisscomTV. There can certainly be latencies here with sound and picture. For this reason, I would rather try to connect Connect directly to SwisscomTV, especially since Connect can also be connected to the network... But whether this prevents latencies I don't know....
