Unfortunately no! A significant weakness of the dab+ radio in this price range. The sound is acceptable when the loudspeaker is at ear level, otherwise the radio sounds buzzy. If you turn the volume down, the highs are even more muffled! There is supposed to be a Sangean radio with bass and treble control. Take your time to find a radio that meets your justified requirements. Greetings hapero

It is a device that runs on normal batteries. Therefore, rechargeable batteries must be charged in a separate charger. I also have a DAB+ radio from Sony with built-in rechargeable batteries. It charges automatically when connected to the mains.

Power is supplied via a 4mm hollow plug (no USB connection) or via 4 (rechargeable) AAA cells which then have to be removed for charging. A hollow plug to USB adapter cable would probably also work if the diameter is right!

Hello Do the following: 1. automatic station search On the unit with which you can receive the SWR stations, call up the menu and scroll to the INFORMATION item. The signal strength of the station is displayed at the bottom with a number. For good reception, the value should be at least 50. Compare this signal strength information with the other unit. If there are considerable differences, it is a case of copy scattering. In this case, I recommend sending the unit to digitec with a description of the defect.
