As a customer, it's quite simple... Digitec (or any other Swiss retailer) is obliged to supply electrical appliances with a Swiss plug. If the appliance comes with a foreign plug, a suitable replacement cable should be supplied if the mains cable is pluggable or alternatively if the mains cable is permanently connected, a suitable adapter should be supplied. If the appliance is delivered without a suitable plug, complain to the customer service and insist on a cable or an adapter, free of charge. Hi Ports 1-4 should provide POE... the 5 I have connected to the gateway/router.... Are you sure the switch is ON? Cable to POE device in port 1-4 and in both devices correctly inside? On the access point side in the correct port? Power inside correctly? Plug in the socket and the small one correctly in the device? Another cable tested? If you have a meter and are not sure if the switch is on, measure the power supply... I have had broken power supplies in the past.... but not yet with this product... Test systematically... change one thing at a time and start with the power supply...

Helpful answer
Yes, that is the function of a switch. But... a) Do you really need PoE? b) I don't know if the Swisscom TV box still works like this, or if this fix has to be connected to a port of the Swisscom router. Basically, you can do what you want. At least with e.g. two PCs
