According to the specifications, the camera only supports the WLAN standards 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n. These standards only utilise the 2.4 GHz band. The camera can therefore only be operated in a 2.4 GHz WLAN and not in a 5 GHz network.

As far as I can remember, only a USB cable is included and no power supply. Depending on the installation location, you may need a longer USB cable (micro USB to USB A). You can save recordings on a mini SD card or save them directly in your network on a NAS. If you want to use the Xiaomi Cloud Service, then of course it costs a subscription. starts at 4.-/mt and ends at 40.-/mt depending on your needs. I personally use the photo function, which sends me a photo directly by e-mail when there is movement in the camera, this is simple and works well.

I recently changed the memory card (256 GB) and since then the camera overwrites the recording every minute with the next minute after 40 minutes. This was not the case before, I have gone through all the settings and have not noticed any change to the previous one. Why is this happening and what can I do? I would like to have the complete recording of my absence and not just the last 40 minutes.

Why is it no longer possible to connect shortly after a successful Remote View? I have carried out the installation via an Oppo 5G router. After a short time (hours) when trying to connect externally, the connection does not work (it displays "Loading in progress..xy%" It counts up from 1-91%. Then the loading stops and a little later an error message appears. No matter from which external WLAN I try to connect to the mobile phone, I always get this error (i.e. no connection possible). Interesting: If the cam is briefly disconnected from the power supply and then plugged in again, the procedure described above is successful, i.e. a connection can be established. Only a short time later, when another attempt is made, it no longer works. I am trying to find out if the whole thing has something to do with the router. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any useful Xiaomi customer service that would help here. Maybe DIGITEC can help me with a tip here!!!?
