Product details

The UltiMaker PMUM-1006-001 TPU95A filament is a versatile 3D printing material designed for industrial applications that require both rubber-like flexibility and plastic durability. This filament, with a diameter of 2.85 mm, is available on 700 g spools and features a hardness of 95 Shore A, providing an optimal balance between flexibility and structural integrity. The material exhibits exceptional abrasion and wear resistance, ensuring high performance in demanding environments. With high impact toughness, it withstands significant mechanical stress without compromising functionality. The filament offers an impressive elongation at break of up to 580 percent, allowing for substantial deformation before material failure. It maintains good chemical resistance to many industrial oils and chemicals, making it suitable for various industrial settings. This TPU filament demonstrates strong layer adhesion properties and processes more efficiently than comparable TPU materials, resulting in smoother printing operations. Main applications include functional prototypes for design validation before production, the manufacturing of handles and guides that require safe handling comfort, the creation of joints and protective covers for moving components, as well as the production of robust click systems and protective housings for sensitive devices. The material is not suitable for food contact or in-vivo medical applications due to a lack of biocompatibility. The semi-flexible properties of the filament, combined with its chemical resistance, make it ideal for industrial manufacturing projects where both rubber and plastic characteristics are essential.
