as I bought a home cinema system 10 years ago (Pioneer BCS-FS500, at that time CHF 973.00 with everything!), the following questions arise for me:

- would this home cinema system be compatible with this TV?
- does it even make sense to connect an (outdated) home cinema system to a new TV (what has been the progress of home cinema systems in the last 10 years)? Would it make more sense to buy a new home cinema system to go with a new TV (even though it cost a lot)?

If you write that the direct comparison is not too big, I can imagine leaving out the home cinema (also looks better in my flat without subwoofer etc..). On the other hand, I like it when you can enjoy a good sound system with a movie. 🤔

In a direct comparison, I think the home cinema still performs a little better and the sound is a little better balanced. But without the direct comparison, I don't think you would miss the home cinema. I'm really thrilled with the picture and sound of the Sony!
