What is the difference between the Swiss (CH) and EU version? Would the device be compatible in EU with Swiss networks?

Do you mean that whats'app calls will not be functional for example? Or maybe I didn't understand correctly

The EU version will not allow you to use Wi-fi calls and Samsung pay because the brand blocks devices by region for these uses. Otherwise there is no difference. :)
