Silhouette Cameo 4
There is the auto-Blade (great blade) and the 12 x 12 cutting mat. I also bought the punching tool and the kraft blade. I also bought the 12 x 30 mat to be able to cut in A3 sheets for example. A tip: get a second 12x12 mat, because depending on the material you cut, there is a lot of waste and you lose a bit of grip.
I have not done the driver installation myself but we have Windows 10 and the Cameo 4 works fine.
There is one with it. Look here https://www.silhcdn.com/m/d/user-guides/cameo-4-de.pdf and search for "contents of the box".
I cannot confirm this. After switching on the Cameo 4, it only takes a few seconds until the Windows sound for "new hardware found" is heard on the PC (I mean that one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9omajpF7v-o). And then you can start cutting immediately. Use the official programme "Silhouette Studio". The free basic version is already quite good. But after a few weeks you will certainly want to upgrade - I recommend the "Business Edition" (a one-time investment of $99).
The price difference is probably quite banal: "Supply and demand" - as it is in a market economy. In my opinion, there is no technical difference (scope of delivery or similar).
Unfortunately only a little - actually only the absolute minimum: - a knife (Auto-Blade) - USB cable - power supply unit - the already mentioned 12x12 inch mat For details see https://www.silhcdn.com/m/d/user-guides/cameo-4-de.pdf, chapter "Contents of the box". We definitely recommend the "Silhouette Tool Set" (Silhouette Tool Set.). Otherwise, peeling off paper etc. from the sticky cutting mat is really tedious
Here are the contents of the delivery: - CAMEO 4 (white) - Power supply cable - USB cable - 12 inch cutting mat - AutoBlade
You have to register at the Silhouette Store, where you can then shop for 25,-.
The delivery includes all accessories. You can start working immediately. Special knives, e.g. for thick material, must be ordered separately. The machine is better to use than the Cameo 3 because there is much more pressure on the knife.
There is a mode in which registration marks are printed on the sheet so that the lettering or shapes can be cut out exactly. There are two disadvantages to this: 1. space is lost for the registration marks and 2. it takes a relatively long time to measure the brands. Apart from that, it works amazingly accurately.
That's a somewhat subjective question... I find the machine easy to use, but you can never do it without trying it out. You can actually find the manual online at https://www.silhcdn.com/m/d/user-guides/cameo-4-en.pdf or https://www.silhcdn.com/m/d/user-guides/cameo-4-fr.pdf , and a quick guide (in German, sorry) at https://wiki.fablabwinti.ch/Schneidplotter_Silhouette_Cameo .
Unfortunately, we have no experience of this ourselves. However, we recommend that you ask such a question as a discussion, as experience has shown that more customers respond there than to a single question: https://www.galaxus.de/de/community Otherwise, you are also welcome to contact customer service, where your situation can be addressed more specifically: https://helpcenter.galaxus.de/hc/de/requests/new
I am not aware of a pen holder for compartment 2. Why do you not want to or cannot use the pen in compartment 1?
Can you explain why you have already commented on several products? How is this fraudulent?
Unfortunately, I'm not sure about that. I mainly need foil for T-shirts and glue.
Software runs on Windows 10 and is usable. However, if you want to use all the features you need to subscribe. But I always paint my files in Illustrator and haven't found it necessary to upgrade to the Pro version yet.
There is no transfer press included.
I don't know if you can talk about "resolution" with a cutting plotter. The contours are cut using vector data. I think the smallest possible fonts depend on the film material used and the sharpness of the knife. I can cut very small fonts with my Cameo 4, sometimes the cut parts are so small that the foil particles almost fall out by themselves.
Different demand.
Hello Andrea Yes, there is one included, this is "Silhouette Blade AutoBlade Cameo 4 + Portrait 3". You can find it in the shop under the following article number 12237922. Have fun. Greetings
My Cameo 4 came with the following items: - Power supply unit - USB cable - Adapter for old tools (e.g. from Cameo 3) - cutting mat - Cross cutter (built in) - Roller hook (built in) - Free designs (I can't remember the number) I can't remember the software. The basic version is free anyway, but I bought the business edition for 100.
You can find the black model under this link. Silhouette Cameo 4
