I had to try it several times. Patience is required. Possibly switch off the hoover completely and restart it.
Hi, it was with me. The part works well, but I would spend the 55,- more for the Mop Pro (I use it now on the first floor and it is really great with the laser, also the wiping function is much better). Hope I could help, have fun with it :)

Hey, I didn't make it the first time either. I can't remember exactly how it worked. You just have to connect it to the WiFi, then choose a room where it is and it should work. But as it says in the instructions, it should work. Sorry my answer is not too helpful
The unit is controlled via the control buttons on the front of the unit or via the app. A remote control is not included.

Hi Antonio, I have the same question/problem. I want to map out my apartment and at certain time only clean the room that need cleaning but i cannot get the App to do that. Have you found the answer? If so can you please share.

Yes, all Xiaomi and Roborock devices can do this. However, I would advise this model: Mi Mop, because the Essential model does not have an electronic pump for water flow regulation for the mop. And the navigation of the Essential is less accurate. The Mi Mop is much better because it also has an upward-facing sensor that detects, for example, whether the robot has passed a door frame.
