In the 1980s, Todd McFarlane began drawing Batman professionally. He worked on the classic "Batman: Year Two" story in Detective Comics and created iconic artwork, including his dynamic cover for Batman #423. Todd has become a titan of the comic industry, but he has always had a fondness for Batman: "I've always liked the fact that Batman has no superpowers. After all, he's just a man in a costume.
