You receive an error message that this transaction is not accepted, with the telephone number of Postfinance, where you should get help. Postfinance, however, says it has nothing to do with it, it cannot even see that a payment attempt has been made with the card. It is up to the merchant to solve this problem. My card works perfectly when I make "live" purchases at vending machines or in shops. Wouldn't it be time to solve this problem as well? This could be because Postfinance Cards are now debit cards and no longer Postcards, so you would have to enter different codes, such as the top code on the back of the card and not the bottom 8 digits of the card number and the front, as previously required.
