We are looking for a tablet that can withstand daily drops, has an up-to-date operating system and where the manufacturer offers general updates and support over a longer period of time. The device is only needed for internet access and for taking notes, at most a photo or short video. No gaming. WLAN is sufficient but WPA3 would be mandatory. Is there such a thing?

Hello everyone, I wanted to get the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids for my son and realised that Amazon Kids+ is not available in Switzerland. Nevertheless, there are dealers and reports that say it works (limited) or with a fictitious address from DE or an Amazon account with registration in DE. What is true now? I didn't find the overall scope of the tablet that Amazon offers here with any other supplier. Too bad, but maybe you have alternatives for me? Does it really have to be a Samsung or Apple device? What are your experiences as parents with such tablets? I would like to have age-appropriate games, colouring apps and control over the content and duration of use. A pen would also be handy. Hi Digitec, please keep your filter criteria consistent across the product categories. In particular, I would like to filter tablets by screen technology to search for OLED. Notebooks, smartphones, TVs and monitors have this filter, why not tablets?

I am looking for a table that has wireless charging built in. Unfortunately, I can't find any information about this in the product descriptions, neither that it exists nor that it doesn't exist. As it is now standard on mobile phones, there should also be tablets that have it. So do they all have it now, so that you don't have to write that anymore? Or do none of the tablets have wireless charging for some strange reason?

Hello together, Whenever I misplace my notepaper, I think about writing my notes electronically in the future. I sketch a lot and like to write my thoughts next to it. That's why I don't need any big bells and whistles like a camera or 128Gb memory. Since I theoretically don't need more than an electronic writing pad, I came to the device "Remarkable". Original writing feel, with easy handling, long battery life, all that blah blah blah. The advertisements for this device are very appealing to me, but the thing is very expensive and can't even do a tenth of what a tablet can do. Hello everyone, I bought a children's tablet for my son's birthday (Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids (2022) incl. cover). Unfortunately, I found out that this tablet is unusable in Switzerland. The software (Kids+ and Elterncockpit) cannot be used in Switzerland. So you get a stripped-down Amazon custom Android tablet that only works with an Amazon account. When I wanted to install the tablet and finally realised this, the return period was unfortunately already over. From my point of view, either the item needs to be removed from the CH range (affects all Amazon Kids tablets) or a note needs to be added to the item so that this is apparent to the buyer. Nowhere does it say that this software is unusable in Switzerland.

Hello and hello I would like to buy a larger tablet (andriod, with keyboard) that can be connected via LAN. Very important, also WITHOUT wifi, because of strong electrosmog sensitivity. (I have an Ethernet to USB C adapter). Apparently this does not work with every tablet. (with Lenovo P12, for example, it does not work). I bought the product described above. The pen should actually pair itself directly with the tablet by attaching it to the designated spot on the back. I did this (and the tablet was also connected to the power, so the pen should also be charged). However, the pen does not pair. When I search for the pen in Bluetooth, countless devices are found, but not the pen. In the settings of the tablet, under "Lenovo pen", there is a note "Not connected". If I click on it, the following message appears: "You have not paired a pen yet. Attach a stylus to the back of the tablet to pair it and access features such as quick note, handwriting, remote control, laser pointer, magnifier and loss alert". I have already put the pen there x times (sometimes with the tip on this side, sometimes on the other side). Nevertheless, the pen does not pair. Switching the tablet off and on again doesn't help either, nor does pressing the button on the pen (in the variants long or also 1, 2 or 3 times in quick succession). Has anyone also had this problem or does anyone know anything about it?

Hello, I am looking for a tablet with pen input in the 11-13" range. There are a lot of them out there... I don't care about camera, video quality and gaming performance, I just want to be able to write my notes a bit more comfortably. It should be able to load PDF files. I would appreciate a recommendation. (No Apple products.) I use a laptop that doesn't have a touch display and would like a cheap and practical add-on device for my OneNote notes. Have also looked at the Wacom One... however tablets are standalone and in the same price range.

I would also be extremely happy about a filter option for the connections on tablets. Unfortunately, there are hardly any with a 3.5mm headphone jack. As a musician, the USB-C port is occupied by the midi adapter and you need a separate headphone jack.
