If a 5.1 audio signal comes via the HDMI cable, then the Delock can also extract it.

Yes, I just tested it to be sure. The sound is transmitted via all outputs (HDMI, jack & optical) at the same time. However, it needs a USB power supply and sometimes you have to reboot it... Maybe it's because I use it with this "HDMI Matrix" Lindy Matrix HDMI 4K UHD 4x4 and a projector. But I have to reboot it before each use (1-2 times a week).

Power from Delock connected where ? Possibly too little power. Another possibility PS5 no longer recognises TV correctly and you have to set a resolution manually. I would start with a low resolution 1080p@60Hz.

That should actually be possible in terms of bandwidth. The pixel flood is even lower than at 4K@60Hz, with 24-bit colour depth. But not when HDR is switched on.

Have you connected the Delock to the power? It is also possible to connect it directly to the xbox with the included USB cable.

Yup, I also use this device because my monitor has no audio output. So now I can listen to the sound from the device with headphones or music boxes and see the picture on the monitor.

That is exactly the purpose of this part. Audio runs normally via HDMI, additionally you have audio via the audio interfaces of the unit. But only one of them is active at a time (digital/Toslink or analogue).
