You would have had to make a backup of the configuration of the console on the old Mac and restore this backup on the new console. If this is no longer possible, then you would have to reset the individual devices and set them up again.

Hi Am I correct in assuming that you have a radius server in your topology, with which the attached clients should authenticate themselves? If yes: It simply forwards the radius traffic, nothing more. If no: I can quickly check how you want it. As a rule, all Unifi switches can be integrated and managed via the Unifi Management Console (be it the one in the Cloudkey, the self-installed one on a pot or the one in the Dreammachine). Hope that helps LG

This switch does not have a web interface. You must adopt it via the UniFi Controller software. See https://dl.ubnt.com/qsg/US-8-60W/US-8-60W_DE.html If you can't find the switch, I would connect a PC directly to the switch via cable and run the controller software on the PC. I don't use the software but a cloud key because I have several other Ubiquiti components. I think the only other way to access the switch is via SSH.

If you simply connect the switch to the router, it will run with a default configuration. That hardly makes sense, you could have bought a much simpler and cheaper switch. I run the controller software on a Windows PC. With it I can configure the Ubiquiti devices, view statistics, etc. If the controller software is not active, the switch continues to run exactly the same. There is only a gap in the statistics.

This switch has 4 802.3af PoE ports. According to the compatibility list from Ubiquity, the UAP-AC-LITE should also support 802.3af from "board revision 33": https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000263008-UniFi-Supported-PoE-Protocols Since Digitec also lists 802.3af PoE in the specifications of the UAP-AC-LITE, I assume that they have at least this board revision and should therefore work.

Hello alone Where exactly do you see that this switch should have a "router capability"? It certainly doesn't. If you want a router from Ubiquiti with a connection to the UniFi controller, you would have to buy one of the USGs.

What does your question mean? Note that this is a 5-piece set (-5) and therefore the price already has advantages over the single price (instead of CHF 645 currently). If you are looking for a single switch, you must order the other item, US-8-60W, without -5.

Hello Andi19801. The switch does not interrupt the Internet per se. However, there is a variant that has a time-controlled effect on the Switch: In the administration console of the USG, you can activate a scheduled upgrade under services. I would take a look at the events and alerts. An interruption at the same time sounds more like the router used (forced interruption). This all depends on the setup. What is displayed in the Ubiquiti dashboard under devices for uptime (for the switch)?

Yes, this switch has 4 POE ports to which you can connect the video and AP products from Ubiquiti... Of course also others... ;-) Concerning the exchange you have to contact Digitec directly...
