You don't have to worry about the company. Look at the share price, it speaks for itself. There are delivery problems everywhere in the industry, Ubiquity is not an isolated case. Some products will probably also reach the end of their lifetime and in your place I would prefer a DSM. Good luck!

There is no modem built into the gateway. With a VDSL modem in front of the gateway it is no problem. PPPoE dial-up is supported via LAN and SFP port.

Ask your provider. In addition to the RX and TX types, they may also have to give you the ID or the VLAN tag. My former provider also refused - now I'm with Init7, who offer this from the ground up. There you can even order the matching SFP module at the same time as taking out the subscription. Works perfectly. Have fun!

True, the dimensions are rubbish and Brack is right. The USG Pro 4 is designed for installation in a 19" rack, i.e. the width is standardised at 484mm and the height corresponds to one height unit (HE) - i.e. 44 mm. The depth is actually 164mm as stated by Brack. But everything is also in the data sheet that Digitec has linked.

It is also important to note: If you want some security on the network and enable the IPS/IDS function in the Unifi Controller, the throughput will be reduced Extremely

No, it is not integrated. The UniFi Network Controller is always required. Either as a cloud key or as software that can be downloaded from the ui.com website and installed on a PC / MAC.
