The cat flap cannot accidentally scan the same microchip twice as it recognises each microchip individually and only registers once per passage. It can be programmed for up to 9 cats and recognises each microchip uniquely to control access.

The opening for the cat in the Cat Mate Elite microchip cat flap is approximately 145 mm in width and height. The cut-out size required for cutting out in the door or wall is 178 mm wide and 204 mm high.
Automatically generated from the .This cat flap is battery-powered, not mains-powered. For your model, I advise you to do a Google search for a universal adaptor that includes a variety of tips.

Yes, you can also use the cat flap if your cat does not have an implanted microchip. The Cat Mate Elite microchip cat flap is compatible with the Cat Mate I.D. brands, which are sold separately and can be attached to your cat's collar. These I.D. brands serve as an alternative to the implanted microchip and allow selective access for your cat.
Automatically generated from the .No, you cannot individually determine which cat is allowed in or out. Either open for all cats, according to the timer, or closed for all cats.
As far as I know, the Cat Mate Elite Selective only works with the corresponding chip brands, but not with implanted chips like the Cat Mate Elite.
Apparently from the description, the selective one is shallower but it has fleas to attach to the animal.
Install both in parallel. No, seriously, it should be possible to reprogramme.
According to the manufacturer, the hole must have a diameter of 232mm, so it will most likely not work with 220mm.

I haven't figured out how to unlink the accesses of our three cats. In other words, I don't think it's possible to code specific accesses, it's "IN / OUT" for all of them all day.
Unfortunately, I cannot help you any further. I have not had this problem so far and am very satisfied with the product. However, at times the flap is blocked so that the cat cannot get in, although everything is enabled. A reset has helped for a short time. However, the problem recurs from time to time.
I have a main coon cat that gets through without problems
Hi. Write to customer service in the UK (address on the instruction manual) they are very friendly and will be able to help you. In the meantime I have bought another cat flap because I think this one is not quite the best!
No, the chip is only read when the cats go inside from the outside. Curfew then applies to all :)
Good day Yes, a data sheet for the glass cut-out is enclosed. Make sure that the glazier makes a cut-out of 250mm diameter. Our glazier only cut out 220mm for another product. Unfortunately, I could not fit the Cat Mate Elite because of this and had to send it back.
