Reading a number plate at 1200-1400m at night - spotting scope or space telescope?

Hello everyone I would like to be able to read a car number plate at night at a distance of 1200-1400 metres. Is a spotting scope with e.g. 80-100mm objective lens diameter and 60-75x magnification on a 3-legged tripod sufficient? Or would a telescope with which you look at the stars (+ zenith mirror/amici prism) and a 250x magnification be more suitable? I have seen that with a 60x magnification at 1000m you have a field of view of about 16 metres - but I can't tell if that's enough. Resp. it will probably also depend on the quality of the spotting scope. I certainly don't want a Svarovski for 2-5000, but would one from Bresser, Celestron or Vortex for 250-600 be good? Thanks and best regards

    Canon EOS-M to Bresser Pluto

I would like to attach my Canon EOS-M 50 to the Bresser Pluto 114/500 to take photos. Is this possible and what parts and adapters are needed? I have read about T2 adapters but am not sure. Thanks for the help.

    Which telescope for beginners?

Hello Dear Galaxus Team I would very much like to buy a telescope. Now I don't know which one is the best. I would like to have one with the function that you can look at the moon and also the stars. Which one would you recommend? Thanks a lot

Search telescope - Not a beginner but not a pro either

Hi Together After the annual Secret Santa for Christmas presents, I have the pleasure of giving my brother-in-law a present. I know he has been wanting a new telescope for a long time. He's not a pro but he's not a beginner either. Unfortunately, I am absolutely clueless and don't really know what to look for. Do you have any suggestions for me? He is fascinated by everything that happens above our heads. :-)
