Hello Philipp, yes, it is a steep surcharge, but since the new price was about 600.-, it was clear to me that the super price cannot be permanent. (at the moment it costs an average of 385.- online) but keep in mind that you have delivery times of about 4-6 weeks everywhere and here you will have it at home in 3-4 days, so that will probably cost you. I think the Mobicool is great, I've been using it for about 6-7 days now, it's brilliant :)

It depends on how good your ears are, the whirring comes from the carrier frequency of the BLDC control of the compressor, which unfortunately only runs at 8khz, as the manufacturer has failed to install a microcontroller that is fast enough to drive the carrier frequency to 16khz. As I said, with good ears it is a quiet beeping, if it is louder, or the box is not cooling properly, then something is wrong with it

The EU version comes with a German/EU/Schuko plug. (I had overlooked this when ordering...) The cable is similar to a computer/monitor cable, so you can use one with a Swiss plug. In terms of power, it is not a problem.

Good day That really bothered me too. That's why I opted for the cheaper appliance with the EU plug. I still had 3 cables for old computer computers/screens with Swiss plugs which have exactly the same plug at the other end to connect the appliance to 230 volts. If you no longer have such a cable, you are sure to find it in one of the many second-hand shops. Take courage and have fun with this great appliance. Greetings D.G.

Yes, cooling down works completely with 12V. But you won't have ice-cold drinks in 30 minutes; a gastro cooler that is already pre-cooled will barely manage that. If you fill the cooler completely with warm drinks, it will take a few hours until they are ice cold.
