    Nokia fastmile 5G gateway

Hello everyone, I hope that some people here can help me. As I don't have fibre to my home and I'm at the end of the line for ADSL, we opted for the 5G system... and the problem! With the thickness of the walls the box must be located outside the walls to have a "stable" 5G, so I'm looking to boost the box with an external antenna (poynting A-MIMO-0003- V2 high performance) to definitively solve my problem. digitec technicians directed me to the SMA cable to buy to connect the two elements. This evening I dismantled the box, and I noticed two cards each with 4 cables: on the first 4 cables with a red crimp noted 5/7, with ANT references engraved on the card. On the second card, 4 cables also marked from 0 to 4 respectively in blue, green, white and white and also engraved with ANT numbers. I notice that there are two free ANT ports numbered 10 and 9. My question: do I just plug the two SMAs into these sockets and connect them to my external antenna or do I have to remove two sockets and replace them with the external antenna? If so, which ones? I don't think we can publish photos here, but I've taken some pictures that describe very well what I've explained in writing. Thanks to all

    Advice for the iRobot successor

Hello Mr Keller and the Community I keep following the latest trends in robot hoovers and would now like some advice as I am planning to buy a device by February (so no rush). So far I've had an iRobot s9+ and the Braava jet m6. I know they are outdated and come off badly in the tests, but back then - 10 years ago - it was something really great and it met my requirements in 3 different flats. In the meantime, however, they are having more and more problems with orientation and when they clean, the end result is ok, but watching them do it gets on your last nerve...like a blindfolded orienteering runner with 5 per mille... The requirements for the new appliance: -Suction and mopping in one -Station for independent emptying, water filling and cleaning of the pads/roller -room size 170 m2 (problem: spread over 2 floors, so far I have simply carried my 2 appliances downstairs, as they also vacuum/mop without a station. Would I have to move the whole station downstairs with the new appliances? Or do you recommend 2 appliances?) -No high thresholds to overcome (threshold to the basement is too high anyway, approx. 15cm) -We have tiled flooring and laminate, plus a few carpets (including a deep-pile carpet) -no animals in the household, but a baby -We have a high standard of cleanliness, no big messes and my wife cleans weekly with a hand hoover. Our irobots have already delivered good cleaning results for us. -integrated camera would be cool and I have no problems with my data being sent to China... -asking price: approx. 500-1000 francs, but flexible for a top appliance (the one with the extendable arm is nice, but maybe too much for us) Because of the floor problem, I'm also thinking of buying 2 cheap models instead of carrying one around all the time. This means that the purpose of the robot - doing nothing - is somewhat lost. What would be the cheapest robot for my requirements? I hope you can give me a few tips. Thank you very much and happy holidays! Tomi

    Shipping with Planzer

Hello Digitec - this is the second time that Planzer has deposited a (valuable) Digitec/Galaxus parcel on my doorstep (in Kleinbasel) and then confirmed the deposit by e-mail "deposited according to your instructions". 1. i did not provide any details 2. we were at home (especially because of the upcoming delivery) and the doorbell wasn't even rung This is the second time (both times a laptop). I would ask you to have a serious word with your logistics partner in the interests of your customers, or to use the postal service again, which is much more professional and reliable. Best regards, SF

    green.ch FTTH XGS-PON configuration with Swisscom-certified third-party router

Since virtually all Swisscom, Wingo and Sunrise FTTH XGS-GPON configurations are being discussed up and down the country, but for green.ch, excitingly, no conclusive discussion or can be found, here is a short configuration report on how I got FTTH (XGS-PON) up and running with green.ch: As a general rule, only routers and modules certified by Swisscom may be connected to the new 10 Gbit/s technology (XGS-PON). The list is linked at https://www.swisscom.ch/de... or can be found here: https://www.swisscom.ch/content... My experience with green.ch FTTH XGS-PON is based on a third-party router from Zyxel (PM7300-T0 in the standard configuration as a bridge, i.e. DHCP lease is queried by the firewall). - VLAN 10 - No DHCP options - No MAC address gimmicks (as with Sunrise, for example) I tried various combinations beforehand. I received the activation code via telephone support. I did not connect the router provided by green.ch beforehand but activated the connection directly via the third-party router.

    Customer service

How can I contact customer service? The phone number is no longer valid. The call back does not work or we hang up too quickly... It seems rather annoying, as a customer not very friendly...

    Galaxus/Digitec degenerates into a third-party marketplace

I sent my daughter's godfather a link with my daughter's Christmas wish, a 3D pen for CHF 69. When he ordered the pen, it cost CHF 119 and didn't realise that it was an overpriced offer from a third-party supplier. We were both very annoyed by Galaxus' greedy and non-transparent policy. As a long-standing customer, we will increasingly order elsewhere in future, as we don't want to continue to support this huckstering.

    Cumulus

For me, it is incomprehensible that digitec.ch does not participate in the Cumulus programme: As long as this is the case, it is worthwhile (as long as the prices are comparable) to make all "more expensive" purchases at the competition (where I receive Superpoints, for example). If I then pay with my Cumulus credit card at the competition, I receive exactly the same number of Cumulus points for the purchase at the competition as if I had made the purchase at digitec.ch/Migros...

Faulty RAM - who do i complain to - no one from Digitec is contacting me

I purchased from Digitec a Corsair DDR5 64GB PC 6600 CL32 VENGEANCE Black Kit (2×32GB). Unfortunately, one of the RAM modules was defective. As a result, I opened case SVC7562455 to return the kit under warranty and receive a replacement kit. This is the standard process, as RAM purchased as a kit must be returned and replaced as a complete set. I also made it explicitly clear in the original case that I wished to have the kit replaced, not refunded. Purchasing RAM from reputable brands includes a guarantee of product reliability, and I expect the warranty process to reflect this. Customer Service: Standard RMA Exchange and Advanced RMA Exchange Explained – Corsair I then received an email from Digitec informing me that I would be issued a credit. This is neither what I requested nor what I will accept, as I require a replacement kit under warranty. I therefore contacted Digitec through your support agent to clarify the situation (I have a full attached transcript). During the interaction, I was surprised to hear the agent suggest that the product price has since increased, and that this would be the reason for not replacing the kit. This is incorrect and not legally valid. I explained the proper warranty process, and the agent confirmed they would escalate the matter to the appropriate department. To be clear: since one of the modules is defective, the entire kit must be replaced, not reimbursed. This comes at no cost to Digitec, as it falls under Corsair’s Warranty and RMA process. Any change in market price is irrelevant to a warranty claim. If the kit is not replaced under warranty and RMA, this would constitute a violation of the warranty guaranteed by the manufacturer and seller and could lead to legal action. I see two possible options: 1. You replace the kit under RMA and send me a new set, or 2. You return the defective kit to me, so I can handle the exchange directly with Corsair.

Default setting of the delivery service (Planzer, CH Post) removed? Select a new one for each order?

I realised today - unfortunately only after placing my order - that Planzer will deliver my order, even though I don't actually want any more parcels delivered by Planzer. It's just a hassle every single time. I had set my default delivery service to CH-Post months (or years?) ago. Apparently this setting option has been removed and you now have to select it again individually for each order ...? If I had known this beforehand, I would have done the same. Now the order is already out and I can see that Planzer will deliver :-/ I would be really surprised if it goes through without any hickups this time ... Let's see.

With the Marantz M-CR612 I cannot adjust the volume of the TV sound. After a reset, the sound is there at a good volume. But it cannot be adjusted, either on the device or with the remote control. What is going wrong?

Can I take the SSD out when returning a laptop for repair?

Hi. I have a less than two month old laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 7) with a defective display (display is working only intermittently). I have the skills and the equipment to safely remove the SSD before sending the device in for repair. My question is: can I do it? Or will digitec or the service center complain about the missing SSD? (I am aware that I can just wipe the SSD. But I am curious.)

    Dear Tutti/Facebook sellers

Do you use the Post website, do you go to the counter, or do you have another solution? I wonder if it would be worth having a tool that automatically makes labels from screenshots (instead of typing everything out). Or is the normal website actually okay? How do you currently do it?

    Pearl on Digitec?!

Why is Pearl now suddenly selling on Digitec: https://www.digitec.ch/de... JAKOB is already bad enough with their exaggerated prices. And what does Digitec do in response to several discussions? Pretty much give the last online shop in Switzerland permission to sell overpriced products too!

    Bitcoin advertising

This advert is so unspeakably disgusting, it would be a good reason to say goodbye to Galaxus. What kind of arrogant and insensitive people were they? Galaxus still belongs to the Migros Group, and Duttweiler would be turning in his grave... Absolute no go!

    Anti-AFD advertising

Your company's dealings with the AFD and the way in which this political party is presented by you do not meet my expectations. As a long-standing customer, I will therefore no longer be placing orders with you in future and will be cancelling my Galaxus and Digitec accounts.

    Cancelled delivery

Why is an announced delivery from the sender/Galaxus called back after a very long wait and no new date is communicated? A search on the Galaxus website is impossible, you go round in circles. Contact is also not possible. You are repeatedly referred to the Galaxus Assistant service page. These are 360 degree turns with no result.

    Handbag return and expenses?

Unacceptable to make an order of 238.00 - to make the return and to count 54.00 - to close again their packing of origin. Since when can we not see without opening the plastic of what we order? Especially since these are handbags and not pants. I won't be ordering from you in the future, that's for sure. It's the first time I've seen this kind of practice.

    Ping-Pong with Galaxus

I have a funny (and slightly absurd) story. I ordered a monitor from Digitec, but the parcel got lost at Planzer. I was told to wait until the parcel was officially declared "lost". As I needed the monitor urgently, I ordered the same model from Galaxus and received it in the post the very next day. Great. Then came the twist: Galaxus automatically triggered a replacement delivery for the lost Digitec monitor and sent me a second, identical monitor. I refused to accept it, as I had never ordered a replacement. I simply waited for a refund. The monitor went back to Galaxus ... and was promptly sent to me again. This time with the note "no right of return". In the meantime, I contacted support several times. The answer was always the same: nothing could be done at the moment. So the current plan seems to be: -Galaxus continues to send me the monitor. -I continue to refuse the delivery. -Everyone is waiting for "a department" to make a decision. An endless monitor delivery loop.

Level-up vouchers - do they really exist?

Hello Community As you know, Galaxus writes that you have a chance to win a voucher every time you level up. After over 11 years and 50 level ups, I've never been lucky... which is a shame, of course. So I wanted to ask: Have any of you ever received a voucher like this? Or do they only exist in theory ;) I would be interested to know how high this "chance" is, 1%? or rather 0.0001%?

Galaxus articles about conversation rules / conversation hijacking

Hello everyone Probably over a year ago, there was a very good article from the Galaxus editorial team about conversation rules, including hijiacking (as I recall). I would like to share this with two or three people, as it contains really valuable tips that I have discovered in my own conversations. Thank you for the link to the article
