I believe this is simply the pins for connecting the power and reset buttons to the housing. See instructions p. 31 (1-17): http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub... PS: Unless I misunderstand the information here on Digitec, then it seems to be a mistake if these are effective buttons on the mainboard.

Hello Alexander The product was never in use. I once wanted to build a PC myself, but then bought a ready-made PC anyway.

Hello Petar According to the manufacturer, DDR4 RAM is compatible up to 4000. However, "only" 8th generation Intel processors ;) Greetings

What RAM profile have you loaded? It may be called OC Profile or similar. If you select XMP (faster) or SPD (slower, but should be stable in any case), it should work. 4 bars draw more current than 2, probably the DRAM voltage is too low. Of course, it could also be that the bars are not compatible. Try one new and one old one. If it works, it's the settings. If not, they are incompatible with each other.

...the spacer with screw for the second M.2 SSD should be included with the mainboard. If not, contact Asus. https://www.asus.com/ch-de... The cover itself belongs on it. You can't buy it anywhere else.

Yes, you can put them on. 2242/2260/2280 with M-Key fit on the board. For information: If you need the M2_1, the SATA_1 port is deactivated. You can read this in the specs: https://www.asus.com/us... The M.2 needs four PCI-E lanes. Just Google "pcie lanes" there are good descriptions and videos ;)

So SSD and HDD are good. The power supply unit is not good at all. Extremely bad. Poor efficiency, no cable management and cheap. That's the component where you definitely shouldn't save money. I would take one of these: be quiet! Straight Power 10 CM (600W) Seasonic Focus Plus 550 Platinum (550W) As for the graphics card, I'd go for a 1070ti: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Gaming (8GB, High End) ASUS Cerberus GTX 1070 Ti A8G (8GB, High End) Ram I would also take at least such with 2666mhz or 3000mhz from Vengeance LPX. The 8700 is not overclockable, are you aware of that? If so, intel still only comes with a pretty lousy cooler. I would at least use something like a bequiet Pure Rock.

If you already have an M.2 SSD, there is no real need to add the Intel Optane module.
