Unfortunately, we do not have any more detailed information on this.
According to our information, the hard disk does not have to be installed, but connected externally. Therefore, the size does not matter.
According to our supplier, the Humax H3 box is only reserved for the UK and certain other countries.
Had the same problem. I still had an old CI card (not CI+ compatible). Since switching to the "Helveticam Viaccess Dual Module" card, everything works fine. Digitec Link: Helveticam Viaccess Dual Module
Hello, I'm happy to give feedback, but unfortunately I can't answer this question because I'm currently still using a 500 GB USB hard drive, but I read from the forums that a hard drive that is too big could cause problems. Humax recommends an external USB 3.0 hard drive with up to 1 TB (1000 GB) of storage. Whether larger USB drives with more than 1 TB are also recognised must first be tested. If you use an external hard disk with only USB 2.0, the number of recordings that can be made at the same time may be reduced because the data cannot be written fast enough at the same time via USB 2.0. You can edit your own recordings directly on the Humax UHD 4tune+. I hope I was able to help a little. Greetings Hanniball
Connecting the hard disk with the recordings to the laptop and playing them back is not possible. However, since you want to stream (HDD with the recordings remain connected to the receiver), this would work. However, all recordings must first be played back briefly on the receiver (so that the encryption can be activated).
