Hello Raphael Netflix app is available, Spotify is not (yet?). Your TV does not need SmartTV functionality to fully use Apple TV. Apple TV supports 4k HDR content, so to use it, the TV should also support 4k, HDR10 or even better DolbyVision. This also requires an HDMI 2.0 interface with HDCP2.2 support. HDMI CEC is also very practical, as the TV switches on automatically as soon as Apple TV starts. Greetings, Chris
Both apps are available in the store, I have also installed them and they work well. However, for technical licensing reasons, at least with Amazon Prime in Switzerland you have a different offer than in Germany, for example. I'm not sure what's possible with Sky, but the app works great. In general, I can really recommend the Apple TV 4k. In my opinion, there is no better solution in terms of speed and ease of use. I hesitated for a long time because the first Apple TV disappointed me and I was never really happy with it. But the 4k is really great!
In principle, HDMI should be downward compatible. But compatibility has its pitfalls ... you would have to watch it with this Apple TV and your TV... Google it and see if you can find anything ...
Hello No, that is not possible. The Apple TV is a stream only device. It is possible to download the film to an iPhone and then play it back via Air Play. LG Fabian
i can't answer that directly, because i don't have a bt device connected. i wouldn't do that, because many bt devices always broadcast in the room... I would (my way) connect the hdmi to the tv, then a toslink splitter out of the tv and connect two sony headphones. then you have two independent headphones that will work without interference. the headphones are always on sale. it's worth the wait... the apple tv is a cool thing anyway. i need 2 remote controls less... have fun--- (BT headphones - https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/sony-mdr-hw700ds-wireless-surround-kopfhoerer-over-ear-kopfhoerer-headset-2485516)
Why is the one 190Fr and the other 250+Fr DE version where is the difference if both are 32GB.Thanks
The DE version is an import product. Since the procurement channels are more expensive, it costs a little more. It was originally taken into the shop because it was available more quickly.
The box has an HDMI 2.0a connection, which supports HLG and 4K 60 hertz. So yes. The size doesn't matter, the only question is whether the content is also displayed in an adapted way (which is what it is supposed to be). It's like a Playstation that you connect to a monitor.
Should not be tied to the seller, was not the case with the iPhone either.
none as the model MQD22 is the ZD/A or FD/A only indicates the sales region. Refer to localisation of manuals, etc. Both are 4K Apple TV with 32 GB
There is the SteelSeries Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller, but unfortunately it is no longer available at Digitec.
It should work with the Infuse app on the Apple TV 👍🏻.
Based on my research, Apple TV is unfortunately not supported by Vavoo. We currently only deliver within Germany or to Switzerland and Liechtenstein via our Swiss portal.
As far as I know (I'm happy to be corrected), this is precisely one of the major shortcomings of the AppleTV box, regardless of whether it's 4k or FullHD. It does not do frame rate switching. For TV shows where 60/50Hz would be great or 24p for movies. But great question. I am curious about further answers.
I am also looking for one, but unfortunately it only has 1 out, but according to an acquaintance it is recommended: https://amzn.to/2ROcGZP
Yes, there is a Sky App with which you can watch Sky Sport and Sky Show, you have to download it from the Appstore.
With the Apple TV 4k, Dolby Atmos support is only a software update. Atmos support comes with the current TV OS (analogue to iOS 12, but I think it has a different number). I installed it 3 weeks ago and the sound is really great!
Yes of course, but you won't get 4K of course.
If you don't have a 4K UHD TV, I don't think the extra charge is worth it, as the other functionalities such as AppStore etc. are the same.
The following product would be suitable for this: Kanex Digital Audio Adapter for Apple TV 4 (Stereo, Digital -> Digital, Black) Enclosed is the data sheet for this: https://static.digitecgalaxus.ch/Files/6/5/1/9/1/6/6/K172-1026-BK7I-Salesheet.pdf
Yes, this is possible as long as you use the appropriate app, e.g. Zattoo or Teleboy. Here is a brief overview: https://blog.meugster.net/2018/fernsehen-am-apple-tv-4-teleboy-wilmaa-und-zattoo-im-vergleich/
Hm, as far as I know there is no 128GB Apple TV box. Once, in version 1, there was a choice between 40GB and 160GB hard disk. From version 2 onwards, however, the internal memory was already converted to flash. In the current version 4 or 4K, you can choose between 32 or 64GB internal flash memory (~1000 times faster than HD). This is actually enough to store a few applications (apps). It is important to know that the internal memory has nothing to do with performance or judder. What is primarily important is that a good internet connection with sufficient bandwidth is available. If all the forums are to be believed, you should have no problems with 16Gbit/s or more. Even an entry-level subscription at green.ch or upc.ch already offers more than 40Gbit/s. In addition, the main processor and, of course, the graphics processor are responsible for the performance of the box, i.e. the processing of the data and its speed, and the cache memory is responsible for the data buffering. Please note that the cache memory has nothing to do with the 32/64GB internal memory. Cache buffers the data until it is retrieved by the processor. If the data is not in the cache and has to be reloaded, jerking may occur. Here too, the new Apple TVs have a much larger and also faster cache than the old ones. Version 1 is equipped with 256 MB, version 2 with 256MB, version 3 with 512 MB, version 4 with 2 GB and version 4K with 3 GB. Of course, the content and quality of the programmes have also changed considerably and the demands on the boxes are correspondingly higher. I operate my Apple 4K box on a 55Gbit/s connection and have connected the box with cable, i.e. via LAN. I tried it via WLAN and did not experience any problems, but please note that a WLAN connection can also become a bottleneck depending on the distance and signal quality to the router/hot spot.
