The most common way to flash the BIOS https://youtu.be/G2QKlWpfXf... ASUS boards offer another variant called BIOS Flashback where you don't even have to enter the BIOS, which should also work without a CPU. https://www.asus.com/support... https://rog.asus.com/technology...

Hi! All B450, B550 and X470, X570 motherboards will support the new Ryzen 5000 CPUs. However, you have to be careful with the 400 series as they will not support all features of the new CPUs (e.g. PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs and more) and the updates will come a bit later after the launch. Recommended are B550 and X570, which are 100% compatible with the new Rzyen 5000 CPUs via a BIOS update (to AGESA v1.1.0.0), which should be available at launch. You can usually find the download links on the manufacturer's website by looking up the exact description of your motherboard. For the update you need a USB stick with FAT16 / FAT32 formatting and 1 GB storage capacity on which you have to load the CAP file. You can find more details here: https://www.asus.com/us.... I also think that there will be quite a few videos on Youtube explaining exactly this procedure so that the installation works smoothly.

It is possible that the motherboard does not reach the full 10 or 8 Gbit/s in conjunction with a PCIe 10 Gbit/s network adapter. This could be due to the configuration of the PCIe slots or the network adapters themselves. The ASUS ROG Strix X570-E offers several PCIe 4.0 slots that are designed for high data rates, but the actual performance also depends on the specific hardware configuration and the cables used. To achieve maximum speed, make sure the network adapter is installed in an x4 slot and all cables are connected correctly. If you continue to have problems, it may be helpful to update the network adapter drivers or check the system configuration.

It is better to check the QVL list at Asus for the board beforehand (is the memory/CPU combination compatible?). With 2X16GB you are usually better off with the AM4. With these Corsair (18-22-22-42) you leave quite a bit of performance behind.

It is important that the desired modules are listed on the QVL list (https://rog.asus.com/ch-de...). Otherwise, problems cannot be ruled out. I would therefore take the QVL list "Memory QVL for AMD Ryzen™ 5000 Series Processors_X570" and find a 64GB module set there, which is also offered by Digitec. Pay attention to the exact type designation and take into account how many DIMMs can be used in the columns on the far right. I myself use 32GB Corsair Venegance LPX DDR-3200.

Update: I have found out that I have to carry out a BIOS update. I have two questions: The system does not boot up because of the outdated BIOS version. Does the fan not run because of this? First question Second question, do I have to dismantle the processor again for the BIOS update? Thanks in advance
